Mail With a Conscience July 2004 Mailing with Consolidated is greener than you might think. When clients have leftover material from mailings and ask us to dispose of the material, we don't trash it. We recycle it. It's all part of our Direct Recycling program. Let's face it. There is paper in landfills. But there are small measures we can all take to make a big difference. Recycling is just the first step. Virtually all printed material is recyclable. Today, less direct mail advertising is going to landfills than a decade ago despite a steady volume increase. We believe that business can, and should, thrive with our natural surroundings. Sustainable development is key in building lasting business practices. That's why we do our best to conserve energy and cut waste. Let us know if you need help finding a "green printer" or want to "green your mail". There are many small measures that make a big difference. Keep your eyes out in the next newsletter for more ways to help you mail green. Remember to tell your account representative what you would like done with your leftover material. If you don't want your overage, we will dispose of it for you, responsibly, at no extra charge. It's that easy. Recycle with us and rest assured your overage is disposed of properly. |
